Dear Pinelands Family,

We have good news: God willing, we will start meeting in the Sanctuary for worship starting June 7th (next Sunday) at 10:30 am. Hosting in-person services safely is important to us. The leadership has developed and will continue to update sanitizing procedures as necessary, which will includes disinfection, sanitization, use of gloves and masks in preparing communion elements, contact free distribution of communion elements, collection of offering, and staying vigilant to implement all guidelines.

We are also in the works for hosting future congregational meetings to move forward with electing the pastor, as well as the nominations of elders and deacons. The Session has prepared a video message to update the church:

Make sure to adhere to the following guidelines and be aware of the following adjustments:

  • We are limiting the capacity of the sanctuary to about 50-60 people.

  • Bring your own face mask and use it properly while on the Pinelands premises

  • Maintain a physical distance of six or more feet from anyone other than the people with whom you live

  • Wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitizer which will be available in the Foyer

  • Refrain from shaking hands and other greetings requiring contact. (Ecclesiastes 3:5)

  • Before the service, wait to be seated by an usher outside of the glass double doors of the Foyer

  • Do not remain in the Foyer and keep the area clear for the ushers

  • At the end of the service, please exit the Sanctuary and feel free to fellowship outside.

  • There will not be Sunday School, Nursery, or Children's Church until further notice and refreshments will not be provided at this time.

  • Communion will be served June 14th instead of the 1st Sunday of the month.

  • We will continue livestreaming the service on our Youtube Channel. Subscribe and turn on notifications to be notified when we go live.

  • If you are exhibiting any of the known symptoms of the Coronavirus, please stay at home and participate in the service online. The symptoms include: fever, chills, cough, loss of sense of smell and/or taste, shortness of breath/breathing difficulty, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea.

Please let us know if we can help you in any way by calling or emailing us (305.235.1142, leave a message if you do not get a live answer /, and one of our deacons or elders will contact you as soon as possible.

We are so looking forward to seeing you all again and worshiping together in person!!!

May God continue to bless, keep, guide and use you and yours for His glory.

In His service,

The Session and Diaconate
